Hey Nashua Parents/Caregivers! The Sealing Smiles Across New Hampshire (SSANH) program is bringing cavity prevention to kids in the Nashua School District during the 2023-2024 school year! This program will be in the schools to offer oral health screenings, dental cleanings, oral health education, and free dental care products to all students in grades K-8. If needed, SSANH will provide treatment to stop cavity progression, such as fluoride varnish and sealant application.

There’s the Solvere Health team again! Bringing health care where it’s needed to whom it’s needed - we meet patients where they are. And for adults with I/DD that may mean a location that is familiar and makes them feel secure. With all the new sights & sounds that come with a dental visit, making the experience as comfortable as we can is a top priority. Last weekend we had the privilege of joining forces with Partners Health Plan (PHP) and Solvere Health, a provider of onsite healthcare solutions, to deliver mobile dental clinic services for PHP members at AHRC Suffolk.

This event provided an opportunity to provide high-quality oral healthcare onsite to persons with I/DD and members of the local community at no cost to PHP members. There were over 20 PHP members registered to receive oral healthcare at the onsite mobile clinic. Services included desensitization sessions, oral exams, cleanings, and x-rays.

Happy to share a mobile dental program update from New Hampshire! June was a busy month as we continue to help the State of New Hampshire bring dental care to adults on Medicaid.

We know how hard it is to find a dentist who accepts Medicaid, especially for those in underserved communities (see the New Hampshire Bulletin article link in the first comment to learn more). And we know how much oral health matters for a person’s overall health and happiness.

That's why our strategic group health event expertise, mobile dental program experience, and mobile medical units are essential to delivering the top-quality dental care these patients need and deserve. Whether it's a check-up, a cleaning, a filling, or follow-up care, we've got them covered at each mobile dental clinic!

We've already helped hundreds of people achieve a healthier smile in New Hampshire, and we're not stopping there. As a company, we're on a mission to improve health equity and make top-quality dental care a reality for everyone. And we're so grateful for the opportunity to work on this amazing initiative with DentaQuest and Northeast Delta Dental for the State of New Hampshire.

A big shout out to our team managing the mobile clinic in Berlin, NH as part of an effort to expand dental healthcare access to New Hampshire's adult Medicaid patients. Solvere Health was happy to participate in the 115th Precinct’s Community Health Fair in New York City last week. We offered dental screenings to the community from one of our state-of-the-art mobile dental units. Patients experience comfortable and compassionate dental care just like visiting a top-of-the-line dental office, complete with all the latest equipment, technology, and supplies.

On Saturday, May 6, we were part of a fantastic effort to offer dental health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hosted by IAHD - The Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc. for Partners Health Plan members at their Bainbridge day habilitation location, the Solvere Health dental care team exceeded expectations for services performed. Working from one of our mobile dental units, our team provided dental exams, x-rays, and even a few fillings -- all the while offering compassionate and accommodating care. It's an honor to support the missions of these terrific organizations!

On Saturday, May 6, IAHD hosted the Solvere Health mobile dental clinic for Partners Health Plan members at our Bainbridge day habilitation location. It was amazing that we were able to have thirteen members of the IAHD community receive dental services! As our Director of Clinical Supports, Erica Robinson, puts it, “The collaboration with Partners Health Plan (PHP), Solvere Health, and IAHD is the future of dental services for people with IDD!”

So proud to be part of this effort in New Hampshire with our partners DentaQuest and Northeast Delta Dental!

New Hampshire kicked off the first day of its adult dental Medicaid benefit with mobile dental clinics, which saw 48 patients on April 1st. For some, it was their first time ever seeing a dentist. Those seen will also have follow-up care coordinated within their community. 5 refugees were also seen and given translation services and treatment plans.

Over the weekend, we were so pleased to partner with Partners Health Plan (PHP) on their inaugural dental health clinic for their members - adults with Intellectual & Developmental Delays. There were lots of smiles among patients, caregivers & staff as everyone received a dental exam - some for the first time!

Did you know that because many Americans do not visit the dentist regularly, they put their overall well-being at risk? This is a serious issue, as poor dental health is associated with a higher likelihood of heart disease and cognitive impairment. Many Americans neglect their teeth and gums because they lack access to necessary care. This is especially true for those living in HPSAs (Health Professional Shortage Areas). Solvere Health aims to be part of the solution to this growing problem.
