If you are looking to work off those holiday leftovers, come join us for our Holiday Ballroom Social Dance on Saturday December 11th from 7 - 11 pm, at St Cecilia Church Hall, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford CT.

For this dance, we will play holiday music to get you all in the mood!

In addition, we will have a Latin show for you. Local dance groups, The "Bombshells de Huracan", "Huracan CT" and "Reyna and Pat" will perform from 9:00pm to 9:15pm. It's sure to be high energy and a fun to watch.

Hi Everyone,

Today, the Mayor of Stamford ordered the immediate lifting of the mask mandate.

This applies to our Saturday night dance.

Going forward please take normal precautions, that is - if you don't feel well, have a temperature or any symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus, PLEASE stay home and consult with your physician.

We will miss you but will be happy to see you at our next dance. Caution and showing care for yourself and your fellow dancers are a great defense with this virus and every virus.

Having said that, we will continue to supply plenty of hand sanitizer and will continue to have normal procedure masks available if you would like to wear one but forgot it.

Please be considerate of your fellow dancers who may choose to continue wearing a mask, or not, and those who feel "safer" dancing with only one partner.

We still have to get through this Pandemic and at this point, patience and kindness will help us all.

Hi fellow dancers,

We have sad news. Our friend, Ella Jurgielewicz, passed away this Friday. Ella was a wonderful woman with a mass of curly red hair, an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile.

She was a terrific dancer, having been an instructor at Fred Astaire Studio, Stamford. Ella worked with Tony Dovolani, before he became famous.

Please remember Ella's children, Jack and Zoe, in your prayers.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians informed us today that they have need of the hall for a private event.

We will be issuing refunds to all of you who pre-registered for the dance and you should see it shortly.

We will let all of you know when our next social dance will be. Everyone on our mailing list will be informed and we will update our page and website accordingly.
