A week in rectangles.
Some days it can be so all-encompassing as a mom. It’s part of my identity. It’s my being. It’s hard to feel like anything else. But I’m also a wife and a sister and I had the opportunity to lean in to those roles during our trip. I’m Forever grateful for my parents and my in-laws for watching the kids so mom and dad could explore Scotland for the last 6 days.
What a refreshing trip away.
Lake life > beach life.

We did something new. 👏🏼 went Rock climbing with my in-laws and it was fun and terrifying and educational. I’m scared of heights so I couldn’t look anywhere but directly at the wall in front of me, but i did it and that’s what counts.
Do something new. You never know what it inspires.
