Get those ugly Christmas sweaters ready to wear Sunday. We will be Christmas caroling after service and taking treat boxes. If you can't go, you can still send a treat to put in the boxes. Thanks.
Tonight at 5 PM we will have our annual Hanging of the Greens.
Join us as we ring in the season and learn the meaning behind colors, candy canes, nativities, evergreens, and more. All are welcome.
Today, we begin Advent. The first Sunday of Advent is Hope!
Immanuel, “God with us”, was not born just to live with us but to die for us. To become our Savior, to become our Redeemer, to become our Deliverer through His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. Now we live in HOPE, expectation, anticipation of Jesus’ second coming, His second coming will not be as a baby but as the “King of kings and the Lord of lords.” - Pastor Jessica Hall
Join the WCG in spreading Christmas cheer across our community. If you have someone you know would enjoy a visit, please let Rachel Miller or Sandy Hall know.
Everyone (men, women, and children) are invited to go caroling. If you would like to bring homemade candies and cookies, we will be creating boxes of goodies to deliver while caroling.
The men's group will be providing a Christmas card delivery service again this year. A Christmas card list is located in the foyer. Please have cards at the church by December 17th. Donations to the men's group are appreciated.
We have around 20 names on the Angel Tree in the foyer. If you would like to help provide Christmas gifts to some special kids in our community, grab an angel and sign the paper in the lobby. Wrapped gifts are due back at church by December 10th.
Sunday School is great!
Mike Reed has graciously offered to have a live floral centerpiece workshop at church since our painting class on the 1st has been rescheduled.
The cost is $10, and he asks that you bring your own plate or bowl. He will provide all the greenery, live flowers, ribbon, and ornaments for your centerpiece. He said if we have it on the 19th, the centerpiece will still be pretty for Christmas. This is open to all the ladies in church and anyone in the community. The limit is 25 people. If you are interested, please message below. I will also have a sign up sheet at church on Sunday. Thank you.
