Important Announcement to Check Your Inboxes:
As of April 2, additional scholarship funds have been made available to be used for registration and travel (based on available funds) to the NACDEP annual conference, thanks to conference host Prairie View A&M University, in collaboration with Texas A&M University. Some considerations include:
• 1890 and 1994 institution educators, including agents, specialists, and/or program coordinators
• 1862 institution county Extension educators
• Active NACDEP committee members
• First-time attendees
• Those with limited funds for professional meetings because of state or local budget restrictions
Note: This professional scholarship is non-transferable and has no cash value to the recipient in the event of cancellation of participation in the conference.

Application for second round are due no later than Friday, April 12 by 11:59 EST.

With renewed interest in the National Impacts database and NIFA’s conversion to the impacts-focused NIFA Reporting System, the need for better communicating the impacts of Extension programs and projects could not be greater. The Community Resource and Economic Development (CRED) National Indicators Workgroup will be hosting a webinar during which several participating institutions will share examples of their current Impact Narratives to foster discussion and mutual learning.
Those interested in learning from the experiences of others in crafting good impact narratives should plan on participating.

RECENTLY RELEASED: Final Listening Sessions Report: Investing in Rural Capacity
This report summarizes the results from the initiative's eight virtual listening sessions, which convened stakeholders to identify investments needed to fill the gaps between rural communities’ assets and opportunities. These facilitated dialogues included four sessions conducted at the regional level focusing on issues of regional importance and four national sessions on topics of widespread importance.
