Dear Patients and Future Friends,

It is with great excitement that I am writing to introduce myself to you. I am Dr. Nina Bryson, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know each of you and your families. I’ll begin by telling you about my background and journey to becoming the dentist, wife, and mother I am today.

I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, which is where I met my husband, Steven. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. I have been practicing dentistry in the southeastern Michigan area since graduation. Becoming a practice owner has been my dream for years and I have been waiting for the right opportunity, Dr. Jostock has provided me with just that.

I was born and raised in Michigan and am currently living in the Troy area. Our family has recently grown with the addition of our son Roman, born in April of this year. He is welcomed by his older brother Nicholas who will be to celebrating his 2nd birthday soon. When I’m not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family and friends.

I look forward to working alongside Dr. Jostock as he slowly makes this transition in his life. With the help of his wonderful team, my plan is to seamlessly integrate myself into the practice he and his father have built and maintained for so many years. I will remain a private family practice, with my priority being to provide you with the best dental care available.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in allowing me to care for you and your dental needs throughout the years. I am excited about the next chapter of my career which will allow me to continue practicing dentistry and provide me valuable time to spend with my family. I have decided to take a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with my brother, Dr. John Jostock, in Caro, MI. This was a difficult decision as my father and I have practiced in Sterling Heights for many years serving multiple generations in the community. It has been a special experience practicing with my father and helping all of you with your dental care.

In an effort to ensure you will continue to receive the best possible care, I have carefully evaluated a number of qualified dentists who would carry on the exceptional care and experience you have received at Jostock Dental. After careful consideration, I have selected Dr. Nina Bryson who is highly qualified and perfectly suited to our practice. Dr. Bryson is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and has practiced locally in Michigan since 2018. Her mission is to maintain a private practice and provide personalized dental care. You will find her to be a very competent and compassionate dentist who cares deeply about rendering the highest quality treatment in the same comfortable environment in which you have been accustomed. Dr. Bryson resides locally in Troy with her husband, who is also a dentist and their two young children.

To ensure a smooth transition for all of you, I will continue to work in the practice over the next several months but will be reducing my schedule. If you have a current appointment reserved with me I will be completing treatment including restoring any dental implants I have placed. I will be working closely with Dr Bryson during the transition to ensure continuity of care for each of you.

On behalf of my father and I, we thank you for your continued trust and confidence in permitting us to take care of you and your family’s dental care throughout the many years. It’s been a pleasure working with all of you and we are truly grateful for all of the wonderful relationships. Many of you are friends that I looked forward to seeing at each and every visit. We are seeking an easy-going, professional, organized and self-motivated person to join our dental team! Dental assistants play an important role in the overall operations of our practice. They perform chair side assisting with preparing and maintaining the patient flow as well as hands-on patient care under the supervision of the doctor. A professional demeanor, a patient caring attitude, and the drive to excel—these are our minimum expectations. Please have one year of general dentistry experience and provide two business references in your resume.

Wednesdays 8:30am-5:30pm

Thursdays 8:00am-5:00pm

One Saturday a month (Sept-May) 8:30am-2:00pm

(Weekdays are flexible, we are looking for someone 2 days/wk)

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Congratulations to Valerie (our office co-manager) on her New Adventure. She will be moving to North Carolina to be near her grandchildren. She has been at this location for 28 years (9 years with Dr Jostock and 19 years from the buyout of Dr Schwarz’s practice). She truly has been a pleasure to work with and we will really miss her.

With Valerie’s move, we will be HIRING a Full Time front desk replacement. If you or someone you know is looking for a FUN and busy office to work at, please call the office to get job duty details. Dental experience not required and thank you for your support.

Good Morning!!

Office Update since the power outage on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Upon DTE restoring power on Thursday evening, we found that our office suffered several damages from a surge of electricity caused by the down wires. We have been working over the weekend to make repairs. We plan to be up and running on Monday, March 22 in the afternoon.
We will be in contact with you if we need to reschedule your appointments.
