Our team threw down at Frank & Mary's. I would not trade these sh*tasses for anything. Even when we were running 100 mph and swamped, they still ran a kickass service. THIS BY FAR WAS OUR BEST POP-UP EVER!

Meet Kahhori, The Newest Super Hero in Marvel’s Series What If…?’
'What If…?' asks what would happen if the Tesseract fell to Earth and landed in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America.
Kahhori is the first original Marvel Super Hero in the entire universe. According to an official statement from Marvel, Kahhori and her story were crafted in "close collaboration" with members of the real-life Mohawk Nation, an Indigenous North American tribe. Aside from established MCU lore, the episode was written with deep regard to the history of the Akwesasne region before it became upstate New York. Marvel Studios' creators also worked with the Mohawk Nation to design Kahhori's appearance and environment. The episode also includes authentic Mohawk language!
The story is written by Ryan Little while in close collaboration with members of the Mohawk Nation like historian Doug George and Mohawk language expert Cecelia King to ensure cultural authenticity.
The new season debuts December 2023 💙

Last night I attended a screening of Bones of Crows. It was a deeply emotional experience that left me with pain in my soul and in deep thought.
I realized, the work we all do in Indian Country is imperative to healing the generational trauma and breaking the generational curses bestowed upon us through the cruelty & pain our ancestors endured. The work we do is vital for the next 7 Generations... so our children and their children after can live in a world of acceptance and inclusion, fueled by respect, truth and knowledge of our beautiful culture and all of the barriers we've overcome to be the generation of Indigenous leaders we are today.
Keep leading, teaching, guiding and sharing. Keep holding space and using your voices. We are the ones our ancestors prayed for.

Where Food Is Love
Being raised in a communal setting, food was a part of everything. From family gatherings, to community events, to ceremonies and at our own dinner table every night. I have been cooking since I could reach the stove. Throughout my childhood, my most distinct memories are of the many people who sat and shared a meal at our table. My Mom fed everyone who walked through the door. She often dreamed of having her own restaurant. But it was a dream never realized for her. She died at the age of 52.
In 2013, my husband somehow talked me into Culinary School. He said I was always cooking and always feeding people and I did it well, so why not make a career of it. I did some soul searching and realized that it was in my nature, it was my calling and it was a chance to fulfil a dream my Mom could not. From there Ketapanen Kitchen was born. Ketapanen is the Menominee word for Love or I Love You. And it seemed fitting. My philosophy on food is that when you feed people, you are not just nourishing their bodies, but their souls. So when I cook, I cook with all the love in my heart. I want people to feel it when the eat my food. I want it to remind them of the warmth and comfort of home and to feel like the welcoming arms of a Mothers love.
My catering company was built on my hopes and dreams. It was built with the strength of my own Mothers love. She always believed in me and pushed me to chase my dreams. This dream was not mine alone, it was once hers. I inherited so much more than her passion for cooking and feeding people. I inherited the chance to see her dreams realized as I fulfill my own.
