I started reading a book(let) by Tim Challies today, "Set An Example," and saw this quote from Francis Schaeffer: "The Christian life is to be a thing of truth and also a thing of beauty in the midst of a lost and despairing world." The world needs to see the Truth of Christ; the world needs to see the beauty of Christ; and they need to see these two realities put on display in the lives of those who follow Him. Christians, be sold out to live lives of truth in a world of lies, and do not be ashamed to put true beauty on display in this ugly world full of soul-grinding despair.
