Healing Benefit is going on now. Stop by upstairs at Compass and visit with Nancy Stephani, artist until 4pm today! Look at the beautiful art for sale and preview some of the auction items!

Join for live music with Capri Big Band from 4-6pm at Lion's Tavern! Silent auction will close at 6pm.

The art is starting to get put up on the walls at Compass. The energy is building!

Join us this Sunday for a special benefit for Nancy Stephani, artist.

The event will kick start in the lower level yoga space with a healing meditation that will incorporate art and sound at 11am with Thea Ennen and Kali Higgins.

From 12-4pm walk the halls upstairs to see Nancy’s art exhibit and stop by Suite 300 for some refreshments and a chance to meet with the artist.

4-6pm we will head over to Lion’s Tavern and the Capri Big Band will play and there will be a silent auction!

We are so fortunate to bring on a new but familiar face to our team of teachers at the yoga studio. Welcome, Suzanne Howard! She will teach our newest Community Yoga - pay what you can - class on Mondays from 9-10am.

The official start date is August 13, however as you may notice on our class schedule, she will offer 2 bonus classes in July, next Monday, the 16 and the 23 to give you all a little taste.

✨NEW TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: MEET RITA✨ “Teaching yoga since 2001, my yogic path has been an interesting journey but always one toward peace. Through these years I have experienced yoga from different perspectives as my own body has changed through time, injury, and recovery. l advocate that yoga is for every body – regardless of age, body type, or ability – and my teaching style is ever mindful of safety first."

Teaching yoga is Rita's passion. A dedicated student of life, she has practiced and studied Ashtanga, Iyengar, Restorative, and Vinyasa yoga since 1995. From an early age, Rita played team sports, primarily soccer, then taught group fitness classes for many years including spin, boot camp, step, and water aerobics. Yoga soon became her focus as a gentler approach to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. She helped develop the yoga program at the University of Minnesota, taught at the Arizona State University Student Recreation Center, served as adjunct faculty in the Exercise Science and Physical Education department at Mesa Community College, and has taught at many YMCAs, community centers, and studios through the years. Rita humbly offers her knowledge, experience and a sprinkling of humor to help people reach their individual goals and to empower themselves through the beautiful art and science of yoga.

Welcome, Rita Rosenthal McCann! Sign up for her weekly class, “Intro to Yoga” starting TOMORROW (April 2). Her class will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-10am. Come to one or both! Drop-ins are welcome.
