This month one of our units is a very important one: fire safety. 🔥🧯And today, preschoolers in our Honey Bees class were excited to be able to welcome Captain Chad and Firefighter Bill and their great big fire engine #1 to our school! 🚒👨‍🚒

We are SO grateful to each of the brave firefighters who help to keep our community safe!

October is filled with many special days, but maybe none quite as special as Grandparent’s Day. ❤️

This week, preschoolers in each class were able to welcome in a special guest (or two, or three, or four!) to share their school space with. Guests were treated to a story, playtime, a handmade gift, AND a treat that is a huge hit with kiddos (young and old). 🍫 🥣

Apples, apples, apples!!

This week we learned all about…

You guessed it:🍎 🍏s

We tasted, peeled, chopped, stirred, smelled, and created with the juicy fruit. We learned apples aren’t always red (or sweet!). We also made “pies” and other pretend food with the apple theme. It was a lot of fun!

Preschoolers are getting ready for their annual visits to the orchard next week…

As we head into our third week of camp, we’re taking a quick peek back at last week’s adventures. Campers in our KITCHEN SCIENCE and YOUNG PICCASOS classes enjoyed a wide variety of activities and crafts. It was a busy week, but we sure had fun!

SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE! ☀️ 🪣 💦🍦

Congratulations to ALL of our friends in the Stillwater and surrounding area school districts on another successful school year! 🙌🏻

Here at Valley Preschool, we have almost a week of summer camp already under our belt. 🫶🏻

Our first classes, PRESCHOOL ADVENTURES and BEST BUDDIES have been a lot of fun!

Summer classes are full at this time, with the exception of just THREE spaces in our Young Authors camp, led by the one and only MN author & illustrator, Nancy Carlson!

If interested, families should COMPLETE and RETURN a summer camp registration form (found here: https://www.valleypreschool.org/_files/ugd/503161_320e017517bd41038f0d6a701aa23179.pdf) ASAP.
