Robin for Oklahoma
Educator, advocate, candidate for OK Senate District 21
Porchlight selfie for the win (I forgot to snap a pic as I knocked doors in and around Cushing tonight)! Concern over Walters and anti-public ed efforts were the theme of the night. Let's fix this Oklahoma! We can get a lot done by talking with our friends and neighbors. Share why you support this campaign; make sure your friends and family members are registered. The change we need happens one seat at a time.
As Walters pushes to increase Oklahoma's voucher cap, this is important. The RHETORIC is about helping taxpayers; the REALITY is about defunding public schools -- which harms our kids, our communities, and our economy.

This has been a tough week for my family. We lost my sweet father in law, so I was pretty worn out getting ready this morning if I'm being honest. I have been so looking forward to our big joint day of action with though, and even with the rain we had an amazing crowd of volunteers -- all energized and committed to a better Oklahoma. Thrilled to catch up with my friend, former student, and a fantastic local teacher at her door today too! Proud to support my friend Rep. Trish Ranson and grateful for the phenomenal support she has built serving HD 34 so very well. Campaiging is most certainly a team sport, and this morning working for positive change was just the surge of joy I needed. We are better together, and today I had lots of great visits across party lines -- we all care abour our kids' education, our access to health care, and the opportunities we need to thrive. đź’ś Join Team Trish, Team Robin, Team Oklahoma! Let's goooooo!
Home after a few hours knocking doors in Cushing. Folks are concerned about health access, education (special needs teachers/support staff -- we need more! -- and resources especially), and the economy. We have a lot of work to do toward an OK where we all thrive. Let's get it done!
Join us tomorrow; 9:30am at Aspen Coffee at Fountain Square!

A planned water service interruption will affect an area around Airport Road and Star Drive on Thursday, July 18. The interruption will begin at 8 a.m. and is expected to end by 4 p.m. This temporary disruption is necessary for construction crews to improve the water line infrastructure. This doorway was surrounded by gorgeous purple flowers though I think only one made it into the pic! Great conversations on the doors in and around Ripley today. ❤️

Took a couple days in Santa Fe & Taos last week. A short but lovely break with the family. Now back to work for a better Oklahoma for my kids and for all of us! ❤️
Just a few of the volunteers at Cushing Pride -- regular recycling plus e-Waste today! Grateful to everyone who puts this on every 2 weeks. Barry stayed over with the heavier items while I spent most of my time with regular recycling. So much waste kept out of landfills. The video in the comments is strictly the cardboard; doesn't even capture other recycling or the two *packed* BOX TRUCKS of e-waste today. 🧡🖤🧡🖤 Fun way to spend a couple hours!
My prayers are with former President Trump. Multiple outlets are also reporting that a bystander was killed and another injured, and my prayers are with them and their loved ones as well. Political violence is wrong. Preserving our democracy requires us all to strongly reject political violence; we are a nation of laws.
Loved the conversation with Sharon Martin at The Oklahoma Observer! Check out this quick, informative interview.

What a great day it's been on the doors so far! Signed up a new volunteer and booked a meet & greet/fundraiser. Want to help? Sign up on our Mobilize account by choosing "Volunteer" -- door knocking, driving for someone else knocking doors, postcards, phone calls/texts...there are many ways to help! Have other ideas? We are up against straight party voting, so it will take a lot of people helping out and talking with friends and neighbors. Consider telling 5 people this week why you support this campaign!
