I know some of you may be scared to color your curls, but trust me, it’s possible to maintain healthy hair with a little color.

First things first, make sure you’re getting regular appointments. I’m talkin’ haircuts every 6-8 weeks and touch-ups every 4-6 weeks. This will keep your ends fresh and your color vibrant.

And speaking of vibrancy, don’t forget to incorporate some treatments into your routine. Whether it’s a deep condition or a protein treatment, your hair needs that extra TLC to stay strong and healthy.

And when it comes to that silk press, make sure you’re using heat protectant and keeping the heat at a safe temperature to avoid any heat damage.

Now let’s talk about the big question: can you maintain growth while coloring your hair? The answer is YES! Just make sure you’re using products specifically for color-treated hair and keeping up with those appointments to prevent breakage.

So go ahead and rock that vibrant blonde or bold red on your natural hair, just remember to show it some love with regular appointments and treatments.
