PG&E just passed NEM 3.0. Goes in effect April 13th. It Decreases the value of power sent to the PG&E grid by 75%. This kills all solar savings unless you spend $20k on Tesla batteries.

Large Coalition Urges Gov. Newsom to Keep Solar Growing for Everyone

Over a thousand solar supporters, representing a diverse coalition from all over California, gathered at the state capitol today for an “Everyone Under the Sun" Festival and Rally to celebrate California’s clean energy progress and urge Gov. Newsom’s CPUC to issue a strong NEM-3 decision.

With the decision delayed yet again, it was essential to demonstrate broad support and re-focus attention on the decision before it is released. State leaders need to see that people from all walks of life care about strong solar policies, and that any proposal to dial back solar in California would land badly.

During the event, participants created a 480-foot long “billboard” painted on the street in front of the capitol. It said, “Gov: Keep Solar Growing!”

People also held up a giant 40x70 foot flag on the lawn in front of the state capitol building with a “keep solar power growing for all” message.

The event included performances by James Jackson & All Stars Gospel Choir, Mariachi Nuevo Mexico de Sacramento, Aztec Dancers, and Ozomatli. Many social justice and climate advocacy leaders made remarks, including Espe Vielma of the Coalition for Environmental Equity and Economics, Mike Duncan and Albert Titman of the Nisenan and Miwok tribes, Rev. Ambrose Carroll of Green the Church, Crystal Huang of People Power Solar Cooperative, Francisco Morena of the Council of Mexican Federations, and Laura Deehan of Environment California.

The donkey said to the tiger:

- "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave and intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that come and bother me with that question."
The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on arguments that don't make sense... There are people who, no matter how much evidence and evidence we present to them, are not in the capacity to understand, and others are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and all they want is to be right even if they are not.
When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet are worth more.
