Aero Turbine Inc. (ATI) was a proud participant in the USA Partnership Pavilion at the recent Feria Aerospacial Mexico (FAMEX) held in Santa Lucia, Mexico from 22-25 August 2021.

ATI’s Senior Vice President, Mr. Alex Thagard stated “Although we have been routinely communicating with the Mexican Air Force (FAM) over the past year, Aero Turbine was honored to meet face-to-face with Mexican military leadership in Mexico to discuss areas of mutual interest. The U.S. and Mexico share a close partnership that ensures we can stand together and build upon our existing security cooperation efforts. Our mutual interests and discussions at the FAMEX strengthened the ATI relationship with the FAM and enhanced common understanding of shared challenges and future opportunities to support the FAM F-5F fleet and their J85-21 engines.”

Ambassador Ken Salazar, the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Embassy Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) were integral in supporting ATI’s export initiatives in advance of the show and on site.

We are pleased to announce that Alex Thagard has joined Aero Turbine Inc. as our new Senior Vice President of Strategy Sales and Marketing effective June 1, 2020. Alex comes to us after serving as the Director of Military Business Development for Chromalloy, where his division provided MRO services for aerospace engines, primarily the F100, PT6, and TFE731 engines.

Alex was responsible for all Military and International Sales at Chromalloy. When he arrived to the division, they had no international sales and very little knowledge of FMS. Alex was in charge of all FMS and FMF pursuits. He established an LTA with the Saudi Air Force for hot section MRO services.
Prior to Chromalloy Alex served as the Director of Air Force Programs for the US Embassy in Indonesia. He was responsible for all Foreign Military Sales, Foreign Military Funding, and modernization efforts for the Indonesian Air Force. This included authoring and authorizing all FMS/FMF cases.

Aero Turbine, Inc. formally announces that it has a controlling interest of its ownership to Gallant Capital, a private equity company. Gallant’s primary intent will be to expand ATI’s current capabilities and continue using the Aero Turbine Inc. business name.
