True story.. I knew I was over corporate Amerikka and I was ready to walk away from it and retire. I was absolutely sure Social Security wouldn’t 100 percent support the life I created, but I had a plan and with a tiny bit of trepidation, I chose a walk away date and stuck to it. Best decision I’ve made. In my spirit I believed that I could continue to live as I chose and I do. People say that timing is everything..maybe..but in some instances there is no perfect time, you just have to go with your gut. If I hadn’t listened to that still small voice, I may still be working since the government keeps upping the retirement age and I would’ve been miserable which could have led to all kinds of issues. I know it’s scary when you think you don’t have enough, but how much is enough? How important is your wellbeing? Take some time to think about what you need to not just live but thrive. I’m not just talking about retirement, I’m talking about life. Fear is a hateful deterrent, but self love is a motivating factor. What will you choose? Be well. ❤️

Everyone has different life experiences. What can be traumatic to some is a mere annoyance to others. Our jobs are to live our own lives and let others live theirs. We can help if called upon, otherwise, we should mind our own business.

I love this. Expectations are great in certain instances, but they can also be limiting. Think about it: If you’re focused on a certain outcome you may be missing an even greater blessing. Affirm: There is no limitation in Divine Mind.

From experience I know that my day begins and ends the way I do. If I wake up ready to face the world with gratitude, my day will reflect that. It I wake up groggy, sleep deprived with an attitude, I know what to expect. Every day won’t be all sun shiny and joyful, but all we should ask of ourselves is to do the best we can. Be well.

Telling someone you love them is giving away a piece of your heart, soul and mind. If you’re not ready to truly share yourself with a friend, partner or family member then don’t say it.

Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

I believe we all should spend more time learning other cultures celebrations. Happy Diwali 🪔

I love this. We give so much to others that we don’t have anything left for ourselves. We should be a priority, or at the very least make some time to reset and regenerate.

When we don’t like something about ourselves we tend to be mean and put negative energy in our spirits. We should address our concerns in a more loving way. Affirm: I will make changes to my body and soul with love. 🌹

You are your own savior. You’ll likely get some guidance along the way, but ultimately, you make the decision to help and save yourself. Be well

Smiling on the inside shows on the outside whether your lips move or not. It’s a vibe, it’s energy, it’s joy and most of the time it’s contagious. Keep smiling and shining 🌟

You should not chase people that you consider friends that don’t respond to your attempts at reaching out. You’re better than that, you deserve more. Move on. Affirm: I will put my energy where it’s appreciated.

Vulnerability, even during great sadness is an act of courage and selflessness.

Be your authentic self -we hear that all of the time. But there’s validity to that statement. We need to be true to ourselves. If we’re adjusting to fit someone else’s idea of who we are, we’re eating away at our souls. So stop trying to make other people happy. Be yourself. Affirm: I am who I am and I don’t have to change for anyone except myself.

We all have a happy place, activity or memory. When you feel a little sad or just plain meh, engage in that activity or turn inside to the memory even if it’s only for a few moments, it can make a difference in your mood and your day. Be well 🌹

Attitudes and decisions determine your destiny. If you decide on lack, that will be your experience. If you decide on peace, you’ll experience it. If your attitude is unforgiving, that will be your experience. You choose.

I love this for so many reasons. But mostly, you can’t expect a closed person unwilling to be open, to be honest.

Facing your fears is scary and difficult but not insurmountable. Not facing them is worse and can actually be detrimental to your mental and physical health. The fear can be great enough not to come back from. Affirm: I will feel the fear but I know I can overcome it. ❤️
