Wondering what you should wear to and after your appointment? Here’s what I recommend ⤵️

First of all, if you’re ever wondering what to wear DURING your appointment here’s what I say… wear whatever makes YOU feel comfortable! It’s completely up to you! You have the option of going n**e, just leaving your panties on, leaving both your panties and bra on OR wear your swimsuit! All I care about is you feeling comfortable!

Now… before and after, here’s what I recommend:

1. Dark Clothing. Preferably black! This way, you don’t have to worry about potential staining!

2. Something flowy that won’t rub on your skin. Loose t-shirt or hoodie, sweatpants without the elastic waist or a loose-fitted dress are great options.

If you feel comfortable, we recommend to not wear your bra until you rinse off!

3. No Jewlery. We always recommend leaving your beautiful jewelry, safe at home! Remove all earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets or anything that may leave a line or rub on your fresh spray tan.

4. Flip Flips, Sandals or Slippers. Closed-toe shoes are too tight and may rub the solution off causing your feet to look streaky. Stick to something loose and open-toed like a sandle of flip-flop.

In the winter, slippers work just fine, just be sure your feet are not sweating too much!

Ultimately, all I care about is your comfortability and leaving with a flawless spray tan! 🤎

VACATION SPRAY TAN TIPS ⬇️

🌊 Oceans, pools & hot tubs strip the color of your sunless tan. But who wants to avoid these especially on vacation?!

🏖Instead of being boring and laying on your towel all day, throw on a good amount of WATERPROOF LOTION SUNSCREEN 30 minutes before and go splash in that water. Trust me, it’s way more fun that way. However, keep in mind - soaking in the ocean or pool will most likely take your tan away. Live for the nice, cool dips.

💦Also, while you’re at it order a nice, refreshing marg. Just keep in mind alcohol does dry out your skin. Enjoy the beverage but also enjoy some water while you’re at it. Try to drink half your body weight in ounces of water everyday. Your mind, body, and skin will thank you.

🧴Before you start your wild, fun day throw some lotion on all over your body, especially the areas that tend to be more dry (hands, feet, elbows, underarms). I know it’s an extra annoying step in the morning but it takes like what...30 seconds. Those 30 seconds will add days to your tans life. Do the same before hitting the hay at night too!

🤎On day 4/5 you can start applying a tan extender. This is pretty much a bronzing lotion with a small amount of DHA in it. This will add a little more color and keep your tan nice and vibrant!

🚿Use the right shower products. I would try to avoid those cute, mini bottles that hotels or Airbnb’s sometimes leave out for you to use. Most of them probably have sulfates or mineral oils (ingredients that strip your color.) Be smart and pack your own so you know you’re using the right stuff. Not sure what products are tan friendly? I got you covered! Ask for a travel kit at your appointment. It included a body wash, moisturizing lotion, and tan extender, all TSA approved of course! ✈️

A commonly asked question I get is “Are spray tans safe for pregnancy?” Here’s what I tell all my clients 👇🏼

Always check with your doctor first. I’ve sprayed many mama’s with no issues and all of them have asked their doctors which have given them the OK!

There are no clinically proven cases of spray tans affecting pregnancy. We also have nose filters you can use + extraction fans to cut down on overspray!
