Sunset Shores offers a program of Day Health Services to people unable to live independently in their own homes. The day care services of Sunset Shores are based on a medical model. We believe that with a quality program of education, health monitoring and therapeutic activities in conjunction with a supportive and caring team of professional employees, Sunset Shores’ objective of keeping the elderly independent can be realized.

Under the supervision of the Professional Care Team, a Personalized Program of care is prepared to meet the needs of your loved one.

Our Harborview/Next Step Program offers a small, home-like community-based day program for adults (ages 21 & up) with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

We aim to foster independence in this person-centered program, which supports each individual person with their unique needs.

At Sunset Shores, we ensure your loved ones' physical and mental health are properly cared for through enriching activities.

Today is Juneteenth, a combination of the words "June" and "nineteenth." This day commemorates when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, to inform of and enforce the Emancipation Proclamation, which was issued by President Abraham Lincoln two and a half years prior.

Our GQ Club starts in June! We have a very active men’s group ! Bowling was a hit 🎳🏏
