It’s so important we don’t leave out the second part of this verse. It’s not that we don’t experience intense temptation. But God will always give us a way of escape. It’s up to us to take it.

Hurt can be Caused by:1. My Sin2. Sins against me3. Lies I believe4. Foolish choices I make5. Life Challenges

Healing these Hurts will require: 1. Repentance 2. Forgiveness 3. Truth of God's Word 4. Seeking God’s wisdom and Godly counsel 5. Faith- “Faith is looking into the future and seeing God in it.”

Shame wants to keep us away from God. It wants to make us believe we’ve messed up too much for God to love us. But Scripture describes God as abounding in love. More than enough for us.
