This is why I love powerlifting. These people work so fu**in hard, for so long, and then get to go out and show the world what they are made of. I couldn’t be more proud of everyone that lifted(+ the guys who took 12 hours on a Sunday just to come help) today and was repping the VETS brand on their chest. Programming for athletic performance required a nice balance between multiple different qualities including Strength, Power, and Speed.

Finding the best tool to prescribe to l get the desired adaptions is essential because your body adapts to EXACTLY what you do it.

If we don’t provide a proper stimulus the body will adapt according to that stimulus, not what actually wanted.
