C**T (Chapter Officer Leadership Training) in Knoxville today!

On Friday, May 17th we organized a service trip to Western Iowa to help clean up after the recent tornados. Throughout the day we helped pick up debris in a hay field so the farmer has a chance to harvest the crop this year.

This trip was open to all high school students and we are thankful for the 17 students who volunteered their time!

Tuesday morning we celebrated Teacher Appreciation week with a breakfast for staff 🥞

On Tuesday we cleaned our section of roadway south of Stuart 🚮

This week our members assisted with the Guthrie County Farm Safety Day for 3rd graders. We served as group leaders and presented about livestock safety!

One week left to shop with plenty of selection left to choose from! We are open Monday-Friday 330-6p and Saturday 9-noon. Our final day of sales will be May 15 🌺

We didn’t take near enough pictures, but last night we wrapped up the 2024 Iowa State FFA Leadership Conference in Ames, IA!

Throughout the conference our members also participated in leadership workshops, visited booths in the career expo, served as delegates, and much more!

Last night we enjoyed friendly competition while competing in Ag Olympics! Congratulations to the boys for finishing the course with the fastest time.

These boys braved the weather to participate in our National Ag Day celebration! 🚜 ❄️

Today we traveled to Des Moines for the South Centrall District Convention! All of our contestants tried a contest that we have not participated in in over 10 years - way to try new things and step outside your comfort zones!

Yoselyn C competed in the first Spanish Creed Contest held in Iowa. She was the only English-language learner in the contest. Special thanks to Mrs. Pepper and Johana for helping coach and prepare.

We had members out and about delivering meals for our hard working farm families yesterday. We look forward to expanding our reach in the years to come!

Today our Soil Judging Team competed at the South Cebtral District contest near Knoxville. The team received a Gold rating and 6th place out of 25 teams. Congratulations on a successful season 🎉

The West Central Valley Agriculture & FFA program is planning to build a new greenhouse this fall, therefore our old structures are for sale.

We had a great time last week at our first acitivity meeting of the year. Fishing, fire, and yard games is a fun way to spend an evening.
