EDUCATION TIME!! The 2nd Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." So, that first part is what the Democrat (Communist) Party likes to focus on when shoving gun control laws on the citizens.. They count on everyone being too lazy or too stupid to research anything.. So, let's pull this apart in an easy to grasp way.. It begins with "well regulated militia", not "well regulated arms".. If you've read the Federalist Papers or if you're smart enough to know the English language and how people spoke back in 1776, you know that "well regulated" also means "well organized".. In order to defend against any threat, you have to be organized, thus well regulated.. Next, the militia itself was the people.. 3% of the citizens rose up to free the nation.. Throughout history, every populace that has been stripped of their ability to fight back, has eventually been enslaved or slaughtered.. Knowing what they just endured and that government made of men could be corrupted again, they ended the 2nd Amendment with "the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed".. Not one single Founding Father meant it for hunting.. They ALL agreed the people needed to be able to rise up again should the government become tyrannical, no longer serving them, but only serving itself.. Class dismissed..

5 - The NRA (National Rifle Association) murders 0 people and receives ($$$$ 0) nothing in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually.

6. I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to fi****ms. While we're at it, let's do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter ID., and candidates running for office.
