Karon Hoots celebrated her 20th anniversary at Meramec Group on April 12, 2024. She is pictured on the right accepting her card and gift from Shelly Skouby. Karon began working here on Table 11 footwear packing, transferred to day shift in Industrial Products, then moved up to mat shipping. She is currently the Supervisor over our West Sullivan warehouse. We are very happy to congratulate Karon on her 20th anniversary and thank her for a job well done!

Eclipse photos taken by David McClure featuring solar flares, Bailey's Beads, and Diamond Rings. David traveled to Poplar Bluff Missouri yesterday for the 2024 Total Eclipse. David commented that traffic was heavy, but the trip was well worth it.

Congratulations to LYNN GREEN on her 30 year anniversary at Meramec Group. She is pictured with production supervisors Ashley Berry and Tessie Knuckles. Lynn was a Team Leader for most of her years here, was awarded the Quality Assurance position for 2 years, and bid into a Trimmer position which she has held since Nov. 2021. Thank you Lynn for your hard work and years of service. We appreciate your 30 years of dedication.

Randy Allmon celebrated his 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY at Meramec Group on 2/9/2024. He is currently a first-shift utility / finish operator, and also worked as a turn table operator for a little over 2 years. Thank you Randy - we appreciate your many years of service!

Ty Fernsler celebrated his 40 year anniversary at Meramec Group on January 24th. Today Jeff Dieckhaus presented him with his anniversary card and pen. Ty began working in sales in 1984 and is currently Vice President of Global Sales. As we wished Ty congrats he said "Thanks - looking forward to the next 40". 🥳

Sharon Hopwood celebrated a 45 year anniversary with Meramec Group on August 21, 2023. She began working as a line worker on Table 11, then became a Mold Tech. She's been a trimmer and worked in the finishing department as well, advancing to Finishing Team Leader. Mold expeditor is also in her list of accomplishments. Sharon is currently in charge of mold repair. She's seen and been a part of many improvements in manufacturing through the years, and we appreciate the great job she does for us. Congratulations!

October 28, 2023 was David Keogh's 35th anniversary at Meramec Group. Congratulations! David has worked as a Mold Tech during many of his years here. We appreciate your time with us and the job you do. Thank you!

Kay Ruegge retired from Meramec Group on September 7, 2023. She began working here in 2000 taking over Payroll responsibilities. She worked in the Accounting office since then, handling many other duties as well, with Payroll being her main focus for 23 years. Her husband Clyde joined us in celebrating "Kay Day" on Thursday with lunch and gifts, and visiting with many friends and co-workers. Many other retirees also joined us in wishing Kay well. It's always a pleasure to catch up with our retired friends! Kay plans to "take it easy" and enjoy life. Best wishes to Kay and Clyde in their new adventures!

Shirley Edmonston retired on July 26, 2023, and came back to visit us on August 9th so we could celebrate her retirement with cake, ice cream and gifts. Shirley has over 46 years of service. She was a Quality Inspector since 1994, working different shifts during that time. She has an open invitation to visit any time - we will miss her!

Rick Volner is retiring from Meramec Group just shy of 36 years of employment. Rick is a Mold Tech in Footwear. He plans to enjoy time spent with family, and expects to see a lot of lawn mowing in his future. He is pictured here with Linda Lee, his wife Cheryl, and Jason Blankenship. Congratulations for your many years of a job well done! Best wishes for a happy retirement.

James Ray is retiring from Meramec Group today. He has been with us for over 44 years! James originally worked in our TPR department, then operated the company box truck, and was a material handler on the dock. He became a Mold Tech for the rest of his career and did a wonderful job. We are grateful for his years with us and wish him the best in his future plans (including working with canoes at Ozark Outdoor this summer) 🛶 If you see James out and about this summer be sure to offer congrats on his retirement.

Dean Cuneio celebrated his 45th anniversary at Meramec Group on June 12, 2023. Dean worked in several areas early in his career here, including material mixing and loading trucks, until Ted Newton made him an offer to work in the maintenance department in the late 1980's. Dean gladly accepted and has worked in maintenance since that time.
Congratulations Dean - on 45 years. That's a tremendous accomplishment, and we appreciate all that you do!

** 50 YEARS **
Congratulations to Judy Baugher on her 50th anniversary at Meramec Group. We celebrated this achievement today with a plaque and gifts for Judy, plus cake/cupcakes and ice cream.
In her early years here, Judy worked in our trimming and packing departments. She worked in shipping and samples for several years, and spent most of her career in the Quality Department, where you can find her today.
She told us she has made many friends during her years at Meramec, and appreciated having a good job that was close to home.
Thank you Judy - we appreciate your loyalty and dedication.

Congratulations to Mike Seidmeyer on his 35th anniversary working for Meramec Group! Mike is a first-shift QA associate. Thanks - we appreciate the job you do!

Congratulations to Fran Hunter on her retirement today. Fran began working on the footwear line 46 1/2 years ago, and shortly after that took charge of setting up molds at Meramec after the mold shop started up, making our molds look great and run well. She definitely has a talent for mold work, and her skills and talents will be missed. Fran plans to travel to see relatives, and to enjoy her favorite hobby - fishing local rivers. We wish you the best - happy travels!

45 Years! Gregg Gumpenberger, Production Manager for Meramec Group, celebrated his 45th work anniversary today. If you see him out and about be sure to congratulate him on his years of service. Thanks Gregg - it's been "a walk in the park" as you like to say.

Sue Pritchett was all smiles on her retirement day at Meramec Group. Sue was our Industrial Products Warehouse Manager for 25 years, and retired in December, 2022. We all wish her well - she will be missed! Thank you Sue, for the wonderful job you did during your years at Meramec.

Congratulations to Wayne Tyree on his 30 year anniversary with Meramec Group as Project Engineer/Electrical Engineer! We asked Wayne about his years here, and he told us he could have never imagined the path his career would have taken the day he interviewed for the job. It's been awesome!
