Seat track is installed on the floor of the aircraft allowing passenger seats to be attached to the seat track rather than directly to the floor. This allows for secure attachment of the seats, but with the option of moving or removing the seats quickly by removing them from the seat tracks as needed.

Last week the Marmon Metal Services Group, made up of Marmon/Keystone, Future Metals, Orkal, and Aero-Hose, gathered at Cape Cod for three days of robust long-term strategy meetings. The sessions were led by Craig C. McCall, Psy.D. with eXecutive leadership partners and the results were incredible as each company worked individually and collaboratively to map their next three to five-year visions. Group President for Marmon Metal Services, John Buckridge stated, This is a huge commitment to pull so many of our personnel from their daily responsibilities to meet but I can’t stress enough how important it is to work as one sharing ideas, directions, and plans for our futures.” In attendance were Company Presidents John Buckridge, S. Vito Sperando, Brandon Davis, Aaron Kranz, and Sébastien Gallant along with leaders from the departments of Sales, Procurement, HR, Finance, Marketing and Continuous Improvement.

The term MRO refers to all the activities that ensure an aircraft remains ready to fly at all times. Typically, the maintenance work is performed on the plane’s airframe or engines. However, MRO activities also include component MRO. Depending upon the type of service required, there are MRO services that need to be delivered at airports, and at times at designated off-airport facilities. Russ Holmes began working at Future Metals in the warehouse. After eight years, he moved into the International Sales Department to support our global customers. It’s his customer service first philosophy that eventually moved Russ into domestic sales as an MRO Sales Executive where he specializes in providing value-added service for his customers’ metal, cabin products, flex hoses, and fittings needs.

Russ is incredibly knowledgeable and has the experience customers rely on. It is these soft skills that Russ possesses that help us Raise the Bar of Excellence every day with every phone call he makes and email he sends.
