It is with deep sadness we share Bruce Nordstrom passed away comfortably at home at the age of 90. Mr. Bruce, as he was fondly called within the halls of Nordstrom, is the grandson of Nordstrom founder John W. Nordstrom. He loved the company. He loved the business (especially selling shoes), but most of all, he loved our people and our customers. He will be remembered not only for his significant contributions to Nordstrom, but his passion, integrity and tireless work ethic that inspired everyone around him.

This beauty is the only girl in house of 5 teen/pre teenagers. Daughter of Momma loves her buns, ponytails for her daily life.
So Lucy is in between being a teen, becoming a woman. She is a girl after my own 💜 she loves sweatshirts & leggings. Being comfy, also wanting to be a lil more responsible for her hairstyle.
So we have conversations as how to care for her hair. Her hair is in changing times.. New growth. so we address get new growth to lay down, How to curl her hair with heat protection with Color FANATIC 21 spray. for detangling, heat protection, also at the end spray into the hands, smooth fly aways.
We committed to “Trims” haircuts on a schedule. 7-10 weeks.
Keep hair healthy. Also since she has FINE hair, keeping split ends, We are able use methods trim ends off other than just taking length off each time.
We always get an after 📸.
Lucy, watching her Smile after Im done styling . Makes my 💖 so happy.
It’s a reminder why I am Hair Stylist to allow each person in my chair is their OWN BEAUTY💝.

Mary had not had haircut other than bang trims in years.
Next Month she has a big Birthday… So she allow, gave me the honor of cut several inches off of her hair that she is donating. So a child can get a wig during Cancer treatments.
What incredible: Transformation. Trust. Love. Honor. Giving a gift to a child. New beginnings. Self-Love. Hope. Bond. Stories for days.

An Arizona mother lost her hair while undergoing radiation treatment for a brain tumor, so her son grew out his hair and had it made into a $2,000 wig.

"Not having hair, you stick out like a sore thumb and well-meaning people can say things that break your heart," Melanie told "Today." "I don't mind being sick but I mind looking sick. I'd rather blend in and not stand out at the store."

According to "Today," in 2018, Melanie's 28-year-old son Matt made a joke that sparked an idea during a family lunch.

"I said, 'Why don't I grow out my hair to make a wig for you?'" Matt told the outlet, adding that at the time, he grew out his hair because the university he attended had strict rules about hair length.

Although Melanie initially didn't want to take her son up on his offer, he persisted and grew 12 inches of hair by March 2022, "Today" reported. KSAZ, a local news station in Phoenix, Arizona, reports that Matt grew his hair for two and a half years. (Insider)
