Hey friends! I’ve recently gained some new followers & more activity since opening my salon suite so I thought I’d re-introduce myself to ya!💜

For those who don’t know, my name is Amethyst! Owner & Stylist at Hidden Gem Salon LLC in Sumter, SC. If you’re new here or have been following me since the start of my journey, drop a like or say hello!! I’ve always dreamed of having my own space to be able to have more one on one client time & give my clients the relaxing experience they desire! This salon suite has made this possible & so much more!!! I’ve been doing hair for almost 2 years now…🤯 My favorite service behind the chair would have to be anything color and curling hair (yes specifically-it’s soothing😅). I strive to help my clients reach their hair goals while maintaining healthy hair at the same time. My services vary from hair cutting to eyebrow waxing.
Outside of the salon, I love to spend time with my fiancé, traveling, cruising, loving on my fur babies, & socializing with friends/fam! I sell scentsy too!! My favorite color is purple and I LOVEEE my plants!!! (Basically a wild card 😜) plus I’m currently going to be planning a wedding for the next year.

I love each & every one of my clients plus the bonds we get to build. I’d love to have new faces in my chair. I can’t thank my supporters enough for being here on this journey with me💜💜💜

Tuesday tips! Summer hair care edition 🌞💇🏻‍♀️

1- Protect your hair from UV Rays! Use hats or SPF hair products (don’t forget your skin!)
2- Minimize heat styling. You can still style your hair, but ALWAYS use heat protection & cut the heat back to prevent breakage/damage❕
3-Rinse your hair before & after swimming! Before, your hair will already be wet to reduce the amount of water it absorbs in the pool! Be sure to rinse after to remove chlorine & salt chemicals from the hair. (It’ll help from drying it out)

Pro tip— you can coat your hair with conditioner to add an extra barrier to reduce chlorine absorption. Make sure to use an extra moisturizing conditioner after days of swimming to prevent dry hair. 👏
