Just had the realization that this is the first event that we don’t have “The Brook and Amy” show

“Being available”
What exactly does that mean?
When one of my grown children sent me a text yesterday she asked was I available to talk. I immediately told her yes, call me.
During our conversation she thanked me for being available to take her call.
Today it occurred to me that so often we don’t answer our phone, but rather let it go to voicemail to where the message they hear has the phrase “…….is not available to take your call, please leave a message ……”

I am so glad that we don’t have to ask God if he is available! We don’t have to leave a message! We don’t even have to press 1 for English! (That will be a different post😉)
We have a direct line of communication with him…..how many time have we thanked him for listening? 🤔

How many times have we just “not wanted to talk to …….whoever”?
I’m certainly glad that God never goes “here’s Elaine, she just wants to complain, or she just wants something”
Instead he is all ears!
Sometimes we just need someone to listen, to BE AVAILABLE !

We have to make the choice!

Thank you God for always being available!

Just wanted to remind our people that Wesmark Servicenter will be closed from Wednesday and will reopen Monday morning at 9am.

Count your blessings, remember what God has done for you and give him all the praise!

Veteran parade

Just a reminder that tomorrow, November 10, 2023 is the observance of Veterans Day!
We will be closed to honor our VETERANS!
If you are a veteran will you please do us the honor of posting on this what branch you served in, any particular you would like to share!

And be forewarned that is anyone shows any disruption you will be dealt with!

Receive that friend request you are skeptical about ?

You can do a couple things :

If you are not friends already you can send a “standard” question to the person, such as, “I know you how?” Or Either, “what do we call your husband/wife?”

Either of these questions cannot correctly be answered by a scammer or bot.

If you choose to NOT add them as a friend, you must also BLOCK that profile or they become a “follower”

If you believe that they are already on your friends list, go to the profile and screenshot it, then message your friend with the picture. If they confirm it is not them, report the profile as someone pretending to be someone else. When asked who they are pretending to be, select your actual friends account.

Facebook will close down the fake account.

If you should get a “private message” from someone that you think you have on your friends list, check to see if it says you are already friends or if it says anything like “new account” “you are not friends on Facebook”
If so, answer at your own risk!

Again, question, block, delete!

Protect yourself.
Look out for each other!

Be diligent, protect each other!

Windshield wipers are there for a reason, and it isn’t JUST for rain, but they have to be in good, working order!
Come by and let us check yours! (We sell and install) or you can bring your own and we will gladly install them for you (for a small fee of course😉)

Get that antifreeze, battery, belts and hoses checked BEFORE they become an issue!

Are you constantly having to check air pressure because your TPMS reads an odd amount?
Is your TPMS light “flashing” when you first start the vehicle?
Is your vehicle over 2-3 years old?
It maybe a bad sensor!

Did you know 🤔🤔 that the change in temperature can cause the air pressure in your 🛞tires🛞 to change!?
Be mindful of this when you “air up” your tires in the early morning hours. As the air warms during the day (and while you drive) the air pressure will rise and you could get caught with over inflated tires!
We will check your tires and properly inflate them for a small fee!
