Responsibilities:
1. Learn and Master Endoscope Repair Techniques: Undergo comprehensive training to understand the intricacies of flexible endoscope repair, including disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, reassembly, and testing.
2. Diagnostic Assessment: Examine and assess the condition of endoscopes to identify issues and malfunctions accurately.
3. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance procedures on flexible endoscopes, adhering to established guidelines and quality standards.
4. Component Replacement: Replace damaged or faulty components, such as insertion tubes, light guides, and camera systems, following manufacturer guidelines.
5. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks after repairs to ensure the endoscope's functionality and safety.
6. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities for each endoscope.
7. Equipment Handling: Handle endoscopes and repair tools with care and maintain a clean and organized work area.
8. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other technicians and team members to achieve repair goals and meet service deadlines.
9. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest endoscope models, repair techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and self-education.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
2. Mechanical Aptitude: Strong interest in and understanding of mechanical systems, with a passion for hands-on repair work.
3. Technical Skills: While no prior experience is required, a basic understanding of electronics, optics, or mechanical systems is a plus.
