We will be experiencing another King Tide this week beginning July 2 and lasting through July 5th. Due to the Super Moon on July 3th, higher (and lower) than normal water levels are being predicted over the holiday weekend.

What kind of impact might I expect along the coast?
• Minor tidal flooding along the coast, in particular in low-lying areas
• If a storm occurs at this time, increased levels of tidal flooding and coastal erosion may occur.
• Lower than normal low tides will also occur.
