We will not be out today since Mike is still at work and my mom’s here for a surprise visit. Having a great time walking and talking with my mom. And of course, Christmas shopping for essentials - yes even at 52 my mom still buys me my holiday staples of panties and socks except they’re no longer purchased at Victoria’s Secret and Foot Locker…it’s SAM’S CLUB baby!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and got fat, happy and nappy. We will not be out today since Mike is still at work. Apparently his employee that was supposed to work overnight must’ve still been in a food coma since he never showed up! Here’s to a great week as we head into December.

I’m calling it now…Mike is still at work but even if he wasn’t it would be me today. I just got up 20 minutes ago. I got the booster shot yesterday and feel like I got hit by a Mack truck going 72 miles per hour. There’s no way I could even lift a cup of shave ice let alone the syrup bottle! 😵‍💫. So I’m going back to bed to rest up for a whole 2 days of work. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. I’ve already set out my eating sweatpants for Thursday and removed the batteries out of my scale.

Sorry for the late post but we will not be out today. Apparently there were some awesome Halloween parties in the west valley because Mike had a few call outs for work. He had to work from 1am-12pm. I want him to sleep so we can celebrate our grandson’s first Halloween. Have a great week.

I hope ya’ll are sitting down…we WILL be out today from 1-3 at Dale’s Town & Country on Waddell between Litchfield and Bullard. We hope to see many old faces and some new! It’s a glorious day so come stop by!

If you were betting we weren’t going to be out today…buy yourself a lottery ticket! Mike just got home after working this morning from 2-11am. He is running on fumes and microwaveable croissant sandwiches. I am going to let him sleep and go grocery shopping. I am going to make him a week of amazing home cooked meals. For those that know me, it’s a BIG deal. Have an amazing week! Halloween is just around the corner!

We will not be out today as Mike had to head to California for his nephew’s memorial. He passed away from COVID at age 47 leaving behind 15 year old triplet daughters who are freshman in high school. Hug your kids tight, spend time with loved ones and make as many memories as you can. I hope those of you that are on fall break travel safely and have fun. For those of you returning to school from fall break (like me 😵‍💫) - let’s knock out another quarter. We got this!

I tried to hold off as long as possible hoping that Mike would be able to get off of work since he has been there since 4:00am. Unfortunately he won’t be able to even think of getting home til after 2:00. Good news- he just hired 6 people so let’s hope they don’t quit so we can have our Sundays back! For everyone who is on fall break please travel safely and have an amazing week. I’ve always wanted to see Mr. Rushmore so I’m off to South Dakota to hang out with my parents. We won’t be out again today because surprise… Mike has had to work 34 hours in the last 48. No one could work the shifts. If anyone out there needs a job - Circle K on McDowell and Estrella Parkway is hiring. Just ask for Mike! Hope you all have an amazing week.

Waited til now to post hoping that things might look up. Mike a d I worked an event last night til 9 and then his overnight person called out. He has been there since midnight and is still there. We will not be out today. Let’s hope people will want to work next weekend!

We can’t be out today due to my ADHD. You see I started cleaning out the garage and instead of starting in one spot and working my way across the garage and I moved around to four different corners.😵‍💫. So now I am committed to “labor” and power through if I have any chance of parking a car back in the garage by nightfall. I hope you all have a wonderful day off tomorrow. Mine will consist of a drop off at Goodwill.

I was lucky to marry the most unluckiest man alive…he had to go into work today (again) so we will not be out at Dale’s today. I will let him sleep and it gives me time to binge on Netflix! Besides I can’t vacuum since he’s sleeping. I’m such a selfless thoughtful wife. 🤣 have a great week!

I didn’t think I would be able to post this but…I wanna first start out by saying a big thank you to Mike’s employees for showing up to their shifts so he wouldn’t have to go in and Mother Nature for not raining. WE WILL BE AT DALE’S TODAY!!! Please come and join us and if you forget where we are - we’ll be in the Dale’s Town & Country parking lot on Waddell between Litchfield and Bullard from 1-3. We hope to see you (and recognize you) since it’s been quite awhile. 😆. Hopefully you’ll recognize the trailer. 🤣

We will not be out today. We had a staff meeting on Friday and we got some updates on COVID. I am currently in my classroom setting up different seating and updating my google classroom just in case. Gonna start wearing a face shield and/or mask to keep the kiddos safe even though I’m vaccinated. It’s not only my job to teach but keep my babies safe. Hopefully we will be out next Sunday as long as there’s no COVID outbreak, torrential rain, locusts or any other unforeseen hiccup. I really miss seeing our regulars so I can’t wait to see your faces and catch up.

I’m puttin’ this out now before I caught up in my classroom and lose all track of time - we will NOT be out today. We had planned on being on last Sunday but we know how that turned out with hours and hours of rain. FIRST day of school is tomorrow and I still have 18 things on my checklist to do. I hope all that are returning to school have a GREAT first day with your new back to school outfits, haircuts, and new shoes. Nothin’ like the look and smell of new shoes (better than old shoes I say 🤣)

I know it’s been awhile but we’re getting all our “stuff” done before the busy season comes(school events, football games etc). This weekend we’re celebrating Jennifer’s birthday and my mother-in-law is in town. So hopefully nothing will be happening next Sunday and we’ll be at Dale’s. Have a great week.

We will NOT be out today since Kai has a softball tournament and I will be packing for our 25th wedding anniversary get away. Mike and I have no idea where we are going…just rented a car for a week and gonna act like we’re in our 20’s and 30’s - carefree and kid free!!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! We will not be at Dale’s as we are doing a private event and then coming home to celebrate with family and watch our first grand baby’s reaction to fireworks. Please have fun and be safe.

We will not be at Dale’s today but we will be at YMCA on Litchfield and Thomas for their 3 day swim meet. It’s a great fundraiser as we’re donating 20% of our 3 days of sales. We’ll be there from 12-5 today. It’s a drive but you get a treat AND support youth sports…it’s a win win!!!

We WILL be at Dale’s today from 1-3. Just a heads up that Mike has put his foot down and we will NOT be there NEXT Sunday because it’s Father’s Day. I told him that that was going to be his Father’s Day present so I’m off the hook! Hope to see you today! 😀

We will NOT be out today since we’re getting ready for our annual health inspection. We have to empty it out and today was the only day to do it since Mike works full time and I start summer school tomorrow along with landscapers starting tomorrow.
