Happy Indigenous People’s Day! Today we honor and recognize the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Indigenous Peoples Day celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Native American peoples, while recognizing the struggles they have faced and continue to face. It’s important to take this opportunity to educate ourselves on indigenous history and cultures, and to celebrate and honor indigenous communities today. By learning about and embracing cultural knowledge, we can better understand the struggles and triumphs of indigenous peoples and contribute to creating a more equitable future. Today, let’s reserve space to listen and learn from Indigenous voices, celebrate the diversity of Indigenous cultures, and commit to supporting and uplifting indigenous communities. Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! 💜
