At home DIY highlight attempt gone wrong means an emergency color correction on a Sunday morning for yours truly. The end result couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Too many brassy highlights... problem solved with a root smudge and face framing balayage.

She wanted to see if redheads really do have more fun. I think she’s about to find out. 🔥

She’s used to highlighting and toning to blend out her “ wisdom sparkles” but she was over the upkeep and fighting the brass. Light foliage to keep her brighter around the face, root color/ color melt and fake lowlights gave her a more natural look with easy upkeep.

Added some depth to this beauty’s balayage and babylights. BOOM 💥 She’s ready for fall!
