Professor Tim Sledd has a background in freestyle wrestling and folk style wrestling. His BJJ career started in 1998 under Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He was promoted to blue belt from Royce Gracie and Caique.He then received his purple and brown under Master Caique.

In 2010, Professor Tim Sledd transitioned to Atos and became the first American Atos affiliate at brown belt, then in 2011 he was promoted to black belt from Professor Andre Galvao.
2014, Tim Sledd became the Atos director of affiliate relations. Professor Tim Sledd is known for his pressure and intricate details and explanations of Jiu Jitsu.

‼️Professor Tulsa explains,”He is one of the best instructors I have ever seen, the way he breaks down BJJ has only enhanced my game to this day.”
