Grief. It never ends. Grief is a process yet a never ending process. For me, it’s a daily reminder of how lucky I was to have my Dad. Does it get easier? Maybe? It’s hard to say because we have to accept the loss. Not necessarily easier. 🩵

A Better Path to Relief From Stress and Anxiety 6. What is one part of your situation that you can change?

So often I hear people say, “I had no idea these changes were actually warning signs.” Don’t hesitate to check in on someone if you notice changes or if you have concerns about their health.

Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses that often coexist with conditions like depression & anxiety. They are not a choice & require compassion, support, & treatment. 💙

Often people enter treatment and want to reduce their symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Before anxiety and depressive symptoms can be reduced, we have to address the eating disorder symptoms. This can be complicated because many people want to hold on to the ED, but want to lesson their anxiety or depressive experience. The ED has physical and emotional components which can prevent true symptom relief from depression and anxiety. 💜
