The Syracuse Community Kitchen is ecstatic to be hosting the Syracuse Black History event this Sunday from 3-5! Look at this AMAZING menu developed by Chef Tamica Barnett and produced by an equally amazing group of amazing students. So what would be better than celebrating together with delicious food?

OH IT'S ALL !

That's right, all of this food has been generously paid for through The Gifford Foundation grant program. Chef Tamica Barnett will also be supplying The Dunbar Center with meals to distribute to the community for people who aren't able to make it.

Each person that comes will get a copy of the Syracuse Black History magazine which was put together by the students that are helping cook the very food you will be enjoying. Please take some time to read about these amazing individuals who helped shape Syracuse and better our community.

A portion of our proceeds benefit The Friends of Farmworkers house, a place in Syracuse where migrant farmworkers find hospitality and solidarity. We acknowledge our relationship to our indigenous Haudenosaunee relatives with whom we are woven through foodways and conventions.
