We're excited to announce our first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019! 🌻

Each fall, Co-op members come together to hear updates about the Co-op, discuss important issues, and connect with fellow members.

This year, we'll be seeking your input on topics such as member engagement and proposed amendments to our bylaws.

You'll also have the chance to meet our Board of Directors (your member representatives!), win door prizes, and enjoy light refreshments from Salt City Market vendors.

"Food Bank of Central New York serves as the main food distribution hub for hundreds of partner agencies that comprise the emergency food network in our 11-county service region across central and northern New York. The Food Bank provides more than 18.6 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 15.5 million meals – to hungry families, children, and elderly every year."

How to Help Co-ops and Co-op Staff Members Impacted by Hurricane Helene

Via NCG:

"At this time, we are aware of various impacts including power, internet and inventory shortages to NCG members French Broad Food Co-op (Asheville, NC), Hendersonville Community Co-op (Hendersonville, NC) and Daily Co-op (Athens, GA). We know some co-op staff have also been personally impacted by property damage and loss. Affected communities are in a state of survival and shock, which means it may be some time before damages can be fully assessed.

"In partnership with CDF, NCG has set up a matching donation campaign through CDF’s Disaster Recovery Fund to support these members and their staff. NCG will match up to $100,000 in donations made through this link, by co-ops or individuals, through October 31."
