Testing one of my candles on a warm plate and it actually works really well! In case you are ever wary of lighting candles this works really well for small candles and throws the scent well!
I am not sure yet on longevity of the scent but I predict it could be the same or longer than if it were lit. I'll look into it more.

Scents for summer candles I am pondering on purchasing but only if others have a great interest in these. Input is greatly appreciated thank you!

04/18/2024

Things to keep in mind with candles, especially independently made ones and single wick, usually the scent might not start throwing until it's burning at least 30 minutes and maybe an hour burning, and burn the candle at least 3 hours for the first burn so it doesn't tunnel.

I hope everyone is enjoying their candles! Let me know thank you 🐇

04/06/2024

You might not have thought it but I wanted to let you know if you have any issues with the candles, I can fix the issue or make a new candle. Right now being so small of a business, I have time to work with people one on one to make things right. Possible issues like if the wick somehow gets buried into the wax, I can always put a new wick in free of charge. If you have noticeable issues with the scent not throwing in a mid sized room or small room, and I see others have the same issues I will make a new batch for free.
I am still learning and I want to make sure you all have a good experience before I progress! Thank you!

A friend gave me this candle and I am surprised how accurate to Reeses it actually smells. Very interesting!

Still finishing the first batch of orders this weekend. So let me know if there are more to make! 😄

Turns out we've been burning candles wrong all these years and minds are being blown (out) everywhere 03/28/2024

This is what I keep telling people! Yeah dont light candles unless you have a few hours to burn them on the first burn at the very least. Wait until the wax has melted fully on top or else it will tunnel.

Turns out we've been burning candles wrong all these years and minds are being blown (out) everywhere Turns out there’s a right way and a wrong way to burn a candle, and we’re not just talking about making sure you try to light the end with the wick. Oh no, it’s a little bit more complicated than that. It all started when – who appears to know a thing or two […]

Testing this jar out for a new candle idea. Not sure of the results. Need multiple burns to really see if it's a viable candidate for those who may want a bigger candle. If you haven't seen my latest collection visit my page!

The NEW collection is now available to view! Please let me know what you are interested in and how any of your candles thus far have been going so I can make any improvements. Feel free to leave comments or inbox me! 🐰 -LR

Had this one going today, The "Hills" candle, not mine but one that inspired me to make my own candles 10 years ago. Too bad I still haven't figured out how to duplicate its smell of cherry slushie and popcorn

the NEW wick.
Just wanted to update you on the new wick I am using this round of candles and how to treat them if necessary.
Initially when lit the flame might be a couple inches high, but then it should quickly within minutes go to a small flame, the "mushroom top" effect where the wick gets these nubs, actually help to terminate the flame, keeping it lower but strong.
However, if necessary, after a few burn sessions you might noticed that trying to blow out the candle, it might continue to smoke for minutes without it being snuffed out. In this case I recommend using the lid and lightly put it on and off (don't squeeze down) until the candles stops smoking completely.
You can also purchase from the dollar store a candle snuffer.
And in this case I would trim the wick when the candles has trouble extinguishing itself after use but I think only every 3 or 4 burn sessions. Then once it's trimed it might have a larger flame until the mushroom top comes up again to lower the flame.
I still continue to use your feedback to find the best candle experience, which is why I keep the candle price very reasonable because I know it takes some trust and work on your part.

THANK YOU!

The WINNER of the FREE Candle Holder !

02/02/2024

I've been feeling under the weather this week. I haven't begun the recent candles but when I do it will be swift!

Photos from Little Rabbit Candles's post 01/29/2024

I'm really excited with the new type of wick I am testing. The wick stays straight up, does not curl and is a nice low burning flame. So far I am testing "Salted Caramel" the throw is better than I ever had with other candles. The wax is also melting appropriately with only the slightest ring on the edge that isn't melted, which is just fine. The top looks like its mushroomed which in other wicks can cause issues, but this is how this wick is suppose to be. It does not create smoke or a bad scent, eventually the nubs at the end will disintegrate. And this candle will probably last longer too!!
