Y’all ready to reclaim your wellness?
Heart is still wide open from this past weekend ✨
After last week, we needed this. You deserve a hug sis 🫂 Don’t let this life harden you.
As we step into this new week, I hope that the spirit of love and connection is still with you.
I always finish out practice with a hug but this time we needed to throw a few extra ones in there.
Incorporating self-hugs into your routine may seem simple but it’s a profound practice to bring grounding, calm and reassurance.
Self embrace is a powerful soothing tool that can also help activate the body’s parasympathetic nervous system(rest and digest) Engaging in these somatic practices can deepen our connection to ourselves and enhance overall well-being. So love on yourself!! Take a few minutes each day to embrace yourself, whether during a break at work, in the car, or at home. Don’t forget to get those hugs in community too!
✨Deep inhale through your nose, bring those shoulders to the ears
✨ Slow exhale through the mouth, roll them down and back
Head held high
✨Keep your heart protected and open this week
📸
Last night’s theme was a heart opening and ya’ll- my heart 🥹 It was beautiful

Reproductive health issues
These mf relationships
Grief
& all the systems that make each of these even harder..
We’re not claiming the superwoman title and no longer felling guilty for RESTING- especially when our health is at risk!!
Nothing is small about us being able to have spaces to take a deep breath and let it all fall off our shoulders , even if it’s 45 minutes. Spaces where we can truly REST are everything. Y’all deserve ✨

This is what our “Productive Monday” looks like at our r&b soulflows. Don’t let these people rush you. On Monday’s we reclaim our rest, our time, our bodies, and connect to what matters in a world that tries to make us forget. ✨
In case y’all forgot , it’s still Women’s Month!!!🌹
Know that there’s many spaces and community out there waiting for you.
Shoutout to everyone for sharing space today, getting in community, getting vulnerable, and affirming one another like you did 🥹✨🌷
Women’s circles is a 17+ space that’s here for you every month if you ever feel called to join. A mix of conversation, movement, journaling, music, meditation. Some laughter, some warmth, some tears, some support, some rest. ✨
When was the last time you said , “I’m burned out”? Burnout is a term we hear a lot, but what exactly does it actually mean? Sometimes a deeper change is needed beyond a vacation and a few stretches at our desk. Its multifaceted nature often goes unacknowledged, particularly when considering the intersectionalities faced by communities of color.
✨How do you prioritize self-care during these moments in a way that works for you?
✨Does your workplace recognize and actively address these issues?
Share your thoughts and experiences below.

Thank you, The Syracuse Latin School for having us at your Business Expo! The Tri-fold the students made was beautiful!
One of my favorite aspects was listening to the students share their dreams, talents, and what wellness means for them. It was also great connecting with other Black-owned businesses. We also shared how we support one another The Syracuse Yoga Collective and our tip was to always remember that entrepreneurship & healing isn’t a solo journey; it thrives with collectivism and community- we need each other!
Sending Love 🌹❤️🤎💛
