There are three upcoming 9th-grade orientation sessions. At these sessions you'll have the opportunity to learn more about high school graduation requirements, review 9th-grade schedules, meet staff members, tour the school, and ask questions. We hope to see you there!

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the main office at 315-435-4380, email me at [email protected], or send a message through ParentSquare.
Please come pick up a FREE summer reading bundle if you missed out on distribution during the school year! Bundles are available outside Nottingham's main office. Each bundle has a copy of the books featured here.

It’s wonderful to see our students celebrated for their talents! The Nottingham High School Choir and Instrumental students recently traveled to the NYSSMA Major Evaluation at Owego Free Academy, where both groups received a Gold rating! Then, they traveled to Six Flags Darien Lake to compete in Music Fest, where both groups were the overall highest scorers in their respective performance sites, scoring 97.2 out of 100 points! Congratulations to these students, as well as their leaders – Band/Orchestra teacher Eric Petit-McClure and Choir teacher Austin Aserian!
We’re so proud of all of our Class of 2024 ! This week, we’re spotlighting the top two academic performers in each SCSD high school. Stay tuned next week as we spotlight additional graduating seniors from each building!
Nottingham High School Valedictorian Lucy Lombard will be attending Syracuse University, where she plans to study Psychology on a Pre-Med track – with ambitions of becoming an anesthesiologist one day.
“I had surgery on my knee, and I researched anesthesiologists and it seems like a fulfilling job where I can help others,” Lucy shared. “I hope to help people who are undergoing serious surgery. I want to be the one who helps patients get through a hard time in life. The teachers and faculty at Nottingham have been supportive and have prepared us so well to step into this next chapter. I feel prepared for college because of the rigors I’ve been through here at Nottingham!”

Nottingham High School Salutatorian James Saufley will be attending Cornell University, where he’ll be undeclared but plans to pursue studies in the math department – with ambitions of becoming a high school math teacher one day.
“My two major goals in life are to continue to explore and grow stronger in my religion, and to give back as a teacher – either here at Nottingham or in another city school district,” James shared. “My proudest moment in high school was helping to co-found the Christian Club. It hasn’t been running for close to 20 years, I think; and my sophomore year, I helped get it back up and running and I was able to help it grow. The best part of my high school experience has been being involved in so many different groups. Nottingham is such a diverse school with so many different people with different backgrounds – and the people here, the staff and administration, really care about us. They’ve really built us up.”

We’re always happy to share the success of ! Today, meet NFL great Dorsey Levens – also a Nottingham High School graduate (’89). Mr. Levens attended Notre Dame and Georgia Tech before being selected for the NFL – where he played for the Green Bay Packers, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Giants. Through his football career, he played in three SuperBowls, winning Superbowl # # , being selected for a Pro Bowl, and being elected to the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
“It’s been an amazing journey – one I dreamed about as a young man,” Mr. Levens shared. “Everything I went through made me stronger and propelled me on the right path. It sounds cliché, but my advice for current SCSD students is to follow your dreams. You have to have a plan, and then you have to take action. Keep your focus on what you want to accomplish. Avoid the million and one distractions and the things that don’t matter and that don’t help you move forward. Focus on your dream nonstop. Focus on what’s important to you!”
