Join us every Sunday at 11:15 AM (starting June 23rd) for a serene reading escape in the heart of Tacoma’s Hilltop Neighborhood. Our Silent Book Club meets in the tranquil setting of The Yard at People’s Pilates, where you can unwind with a book in a beautiful park-like atmosphere.
What to Expect:
11:15-11:45 AM: Arrive at your leisure, find a cozy spot in the yard, and share your current reads with fellow book lovers.
11:45 AM-12:45 PM: Dive into a quiet reading hour. You can choose to immerse yourself in your book with relaxing acoustic music through our headphones or enjoy the ambient sounds of the city.
12:45-1:15 PM: Engage in optional socializing to discuss your insights, or simply continue your reading journey.
Listening Choice: Headphones with music available for a more personal experience.
People’s Community Library: Feel free to pick a new book or leave one for others.
This event is free for all! All are welcome, from avid readers to those just looking for a quiet place to flip through a book.

🌞 Soak up the PNW summer sun with our Outdoor Pilates! 🌳 Starting June 17th at 5 PM, make the most of the beautiful weather with our outdoor reformer classes Monday through Thursday, and mat Pilates and yoga on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
🎧 Disconnect from the world and connect with your body through classes conducted with headphones (provided by us)—clear instructions via instructor mic, uplifting music, and the great outdoors!
🕶️ Don’t forget your sunglasses and sunscreen to enjoy the sessions safely and comfortably.
🌦️ Classes are weather-dependent. If a session is canceled due to inclement weather, credits will be returned.
