Ocean Shores- February, 2015

Going through camera withdrawls. My schedule is crazy sometimes. I'm looking forward to the International Motorcycle show on the 15th. It will give me a great chance to use my camera and see some amazing motorcycles

Looking to do some winter portraits. Maybe couple pictures? Just need to get some more portrait work done, so I can have a good portfolio of what i can do.

I shot my first wedding today, assisting my dad. 12 hours is a long day, but it ended up being great, despite all the mishaps and such.

Took 200 pictures today at Kendra's bridal shower. Time to process them, and then get ready for the wedding the end of this month. Need to really form a plan for all the prep pictures c:

Finished off my first official roll of film this afternoon. A little nervous to get it developed, but excited to see the pictures.

Did a little portrait practice with my grandparents and aunt. Its nice to shoot people who understand the concept of correct lighting for photography. Portrait definitely isn't my strong suit, but I'm hoping I got a few that they are pleased with.

Got some shooting done with my AE-1 Program today at Allyn Days. I'm starting to learn how to think in film, instead of digital. Its a very different system, but such an honor to use the camera my dad once used.

Looking forward to starting work with my film camera, and learning all about the different techniques that are out there for film photography.

Thankful to have a father who knows so much about photography and is willing to share his knowledge with me.
