As a Lumber Mill Worker you will be tagging, strapping and stacking building products. There are several duties including:

-Green chain: Fast paced, pulling and stacking defective wood.
-Production: Putting correct labels on bundles of wood and boards, stacking correct bundles
-Janitorial: Busy, driving around yard in golf cart sweeping up chip piles, keeping walkways and flow roads clean with no clutter, sanitizing.

-End tagging lumber using a pneumatic staple gun
-Strapping lumber using a battery powered ratchet
-Stacking plywood/ lumber by hand
-Wrapping lumber via assembly line style wrap line
-Able to work in various environments such as hot / cold / wet weather.

Machine Operator:

Required to operate a manual machine:
Press buttons
Use a grinder on parts
Attach bolts and screws
Use tools to attach train wheel parts and accessories
Making parts for train industry
Evaluate orders and what needs to be completed for the day
Follow all safety procedures
