I find myself reflecting on the journey we've begun,
And how you gently brought me back, under the setting sun.

You didn't change me, no, not a single bit,
But you guided me gently, through shadows I'd admit.

Hey beautiful souls,

As most of you know, I've been doing a lot of soul-searching lately, and I just couldn't keep these feelings to myself any longer. Life, huh? It's a wild ride. There were moments when it felt like I was drowning in a sea of uncertainty, struggling to find even a glimmer of light. But you know what? In the midst of all that chaos, something incredible happened.

You showed up. Each and every one of you. With your love, your kindness, your unwavering support, you pulled me back from the edge when I needed it most. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy for me to accept that help. I've always been the one to put on a brave face, to soldier through on my own. But you broke through those walls I'd built around my heart, and you reminded me that it's okay to lean on others, to let them in.

And now, here I am, on the other side of that darkness, feeling more alive than ever. It's like I'm seeing the world through a whole new set of eyes—a set of eyes that are filled with gratitude for each and every one of you. You've taught me the true meaning of friendship, of love, of compassion. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

As I look ahead to the future, my heart is bursting with excitement. Sure, there will still be challenges along the way, but I know I can face them head-on with you by my side. Together, we're unstoppable.

I've also made a promise to myself... to lead with LOVE in everything I do. To be a beacon of light in a world that sometimes feels overwhelmingly dark. Embracing Change: From Spokane to Tacoma, a Journey of Rediscovery

Dear friends and fellow dreamers,

As I sit here, reminiscing about the bittersweet emotions of leaving my beloved hometown, Spokane, behind, I find myself both excited and nervous to share my story with you. Life has an uncanny way of taking us on unexpected journeys, and this is the tale of how I left my photography dreams behind to pursue a new path in Tacoma, finding myself amidst the mountains and embracing a whole new life.

Leaving Spokane was one of the hardest decisions I had ever made. The city had been my home since childhood, and it had witnessed my growth as a photographer. Countless moments captured through my lens, each frame encapsulating memories of laughter, joy, and tears. But life's winds of change swept me off my feet, propelling me towards Tacoma, a city that beckoned with the allure of mountains, opportunities, and growth.

At first, I was reluctant to let go of my photography dreams. The thought of turning my back on a passion that had fueled my soul for years filled me with a sense of loss and uncertainty. Doubts clouded my mind, and I questioned whether I was making the right choice. But deep down, I knew that life was nudging me towards a new chapter, and I had to summon the courage to turn the page.

As I settled into my role as a retail manager in Tacoma, I discovered the joy of connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Each customer that walked through the doors of the store brought with them a unique story, a snippet of their lives that they shared with me. While photography had allowed me to capture fleeting moments, my new job enabled me to be part of the moments in people's lives—a comforting thought.

Tacoma welcomed me with open arms, and the mountains that surrounded the city became my solace. Nature has a way of healing and inspiring, and I found myself drawn to the majestic beauty that the mountains offered. Hiking trails led me to breathtaking vistas, where the city's bustle melted away, leaving me with a sense of calm and clarity. It was in these moments that I began to rediscover myself—unearthing passions and interests that I hadn't explored before.

I won't deny that the transition was challenging. Leaving behind the familiar, stepping out of my comfort zone, and embracing the unknown is never easy. But through this process, I learned that growth lies in embracing change and that sometimes, letting go of one dream opens the door to new and unforeseen possibilities.

I discovered that photography, although no longer my primary pursuit, remained an integral part of who I am. The skills I honed as a photographer became a lens through which I viewed the world, enriching my interactions with others and my appreciation for the beauty around me.

In Tacoma, I found a community of like-minded individuals who encouraged me to pursue my passions alongside my responsibilities as a retail manager. My camera found its place in my new life, capturing the splendor of the mountains, the vibrancy of the city, and the moments that defined this phase of my journey.

As I reflect on this transformative period of my life, I'm filled with gratitude for the lessons I've learned and the person I've become. Leaving Spokane and my photography dreams behind was not the end of my story—it was a beginning. It led me to Tacoma, where I embraced a whole new life amidst the mountains and discovered facets of myself that were waiting to be uncovered.

So, my friends, if life ever takes you on an unexpected detour, don't be afraid to tread new paths. Embrace change with an open heart, for it may lead you to places and experiences that will shape you in ways you never imagined.
