if you take anything from my pride month content, i want it to be this:

one of the most effective way to root out homophobia in the world is for you to root it out of yourself, your home, and your business.

a really simple place that a lot of people leaving some colonization (and therefore homophobia) in their brand is their color palette.

homosociety’s fear of the “overly colorful” is rooted in racism and homophobia. think of communities known for their bright colors and whether or not they are oppressed. hint: they are.

before you build another beige brand, consider why you are afraid of sharing with the most colorful parts of yourself with the business world. unleashing them can be a healing and restorative practice. 🌈

brands that refuse to drop the professional act aren’t going to survive the next 10 years
