This past Friday, our Soror, Sen. T'wina Nobles was sworn in to the WA State Senate, representing the 28th legislative district!!!!! She is currently the only African American legislator in the State Senate and the first in 10 years! Congratulations, Soror!! You have our support and prayers as you work to bring our voice into the WA State Senate. And may we all do our part to continue to fight for justice and equity in Washington State. On April 30, 1972, Fifteen dynamic Sorors forged the way and chartered Tacoma Alumnae Chapter with Founder Bertha Pitts Campbell and our 17th National President, Soror Mona H.
