Spotlight on… Student costume shop employees! In the PLU theatre department, there are lots of opportunities for students to have paid positions that help our productions come to life. In our costume shop, we employ students to help construct the costumes for our shows! If you’re a student and have experience with sewing and/or costume construction, this could be a great opportunity for you get involved behind the scenes of a production and get paid while you’re at it!

Student club spotlight! This week’s spotlight is on… APO! APO (Alpha Psi Omega) is a national theatre honor society. At PLU, APO puts on three completely student produced shows per school year. All three of these are directed, costume designed, lighting designed, and scenic designed entirely by students! Each year, one of these three productions is a festival of one act plays all written by PLU students. The other two productions are pre-existing plays that the members of APO propose and then collectively vote on to decide their season.
