representing Flavio Galvan, a famous artist from Argentina based in Miami.

His contemporary abstract paintings are loved and collected by people all around world, and has been exhibited in numerous art galleries all over the USA.
This will be his first exhibition in Canada. The exhibition is from October 21st to November 6th.

The opening ceremony will be held on October 21st at 7pm at Empty Wall art gallery. You will have the chance to chat with Flavio in person. We will offer one complementary drink and live music. Come join our art show to enjoy the delicious visual symphony of colors.

I just finished yes exuberant commission for a client! The work is a mixed medium piece incorporating oil, pastel, acrylic, wax, collaged documents from the early 1800s and pressed flowers collected during my trip to Bali.

Spring Vibes!! Time to brighten up every corner of your home. Bring the outdoors in, celebrate with a fresh bouquet of lilacs are a couple dozen tulips! Change out your pillows for a little energetically lift in your space. Rotate your art collection and bring a little more levity to your environment!

So many clients are now working from home and finding out it’s time to bloom where you’re planted. I painted this abstract diptych for a clients rather minimalistic home office. The strong use of color appealed to them as a way to enliven the often gray days of the Pacific Northwest winter.

What great inspiring fun to work with artistic client who isn’t shy of a few persimmon walls and some Jaguar stair runners!

An entrance doesn’t have to make a big fuss to be grand. I was rather captivated by this 10x10’ pivoting door with portal. There is elegance in simplicity.

Opposites attract…I appreciate strong juxtaposition in design and in life…minimalism and old world organic construction, grief and relief, light and dark, texture and slickness, apprehension and hope…all can and does coexist. Life is art rather than a problem to be solved or an imperfection to be fixed.

Just the Minor Details…

I find there’s always something very pleasing about a neutral color palette when accented by art. Whites grays creams and natural wood tones are a favorite to live and work with.

Site specific art brings a level of sophistication and elegance to every project. This was a somewhat atypical color palette to work with but the results feel warm, fresh, inviting and memorable.

One of my favorite recent projects! I see interior design as a tool to help organizations communicate their vision, values and vibe. For this high-touch financial services company, it was important to create an artful environment that warms and welcomes clients as well as promotes the long-standing security and innovativeness of their brand. I worked with local artists to curate a collection of site specific works that not only set the tone for the environment but also celebrated the forward focus vibrancy of the organization. Just delivered an original mix media painting for a long time client and dear friend. So much fun creating for people you love!

My cabinet shop calls me the “Wood Pusher” because I love the sophistication of incorporating beautiful, sometimes unexpected, woods paired carefully with other surfaces! This is one of my favorite contemporary kitchens.

I love an interesting library table! In this renovation I had the opportunity to create a sophisticated eclectic mix. I sourced original mid-century coastal themed oil paintings from a dealer in California. Ram Lamps are from The Barbara Cosgrove Lighting collection. The turned leg library table is from . We paired it with a simple, elegant lucite legged bench from . Accessories were gathered from the expensive and ever-changing .

This amazing custom built kitchen actualizes the clients’ dream of creating a one-of-a-kind craftsman inspired space with bespoke finishes, high attention given to functionality and storage and a carefully selected use and placement of color. Architect Jill Sousa and custom homebuilder Treleven Company in collaboration with custom cabinetry helped us realize the vision.

I’m completely obsessed with these contemporary drawings by artist ! I have commissioned a number of them for clients in the past few years. They are simply stunning in every environment! These dramatically detailed creations can take 40 to 60 hours to create and can exceed 40,000 individual marks or lines. DM me for commission information.

A great renovation sometimes starts with a passionate appreciation for a particular design aesthetic. In this renovation we sought to reflect simplicity, refined materials, Scandinavian design and functionality. The stunning rift cut white oak slab faced cabinets were exquisitely executed through our collaboration with Hewitt Cabinetry! The result is a much larger and more functional space for family entertaining and a timeless design that will still look great decades down the road!

What a treat to enjoy an evening of American bluegrass music with Monroe Crossing at the historic Sheldon auditorium in Red Wing, Minnesota! It’s beautifully restored theater hosts entertainment from around the globe and brings amazing culture to this beautiful Mississippi river town.
