African American Studies' Public Scholarship course will bring an important discussion to campus on Wednesday, April 28 at 12pm PST. Students from the course will lead the audience in a much needed dialogue regarding language in the classroom and across campus. Black Studies is one of the most important disciplines for Americans to learn from, especially right now. We must all do our part to be the best informed about Black Studies concepts and content, as we attempt to navigate our society by sharing our informed knowledge with others. How informed are you?

RSVP and contribute to graduation zines by April 18!
Each year, UPS recognizes the unique challenges that first-generation college students, students of color, and LGBTQ+ students navigate in society and on campus, honoring their particular achievements and triumphs as they graduate from Puget Sound, via a series of celebrations organized by the Office of Intercultural Engagement.
This year we will also host an Indigenous Graduates Celebration with a robing ceremony.
Finally, we also have caps and gowns to borrow, if purchasing regalia presents a financial strain.
RSVP for any of these programs via the link in our bio!
Come see if you are eligible Wednesday April 21 and Wednesday April 28!
