Join us on Wednesday, April 24th at the SLC Theatre for a live performance by Marcello Hernández!!
Marcello Hernández is a Cuban-Dominican stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who can currently be seen as a featured player on the 49th season of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. A proud Miami native, in 2020 Marcello became the host and creative director of a Miami-based account with over 1.5 million followers. He has had 10+ appearances on Telemundo’s Accesso Total & NBC’s 6 in the mix, and was selected as a Just For Laughs New Face of Comedy in 2022.

Banding will begin at 5:00 PM
Doors to the theater will open at 7:00 PM
Show will start at 8:00 PM

You’ll be able to feed the animals, take photos, and interact with them! We’ll also have delicious food for you to enjoy while petting the cutest animals including cotton candy, snow cones, and lemonade! There will also be fun carnival and yard games for you to play throughout the event.

Mekki Leeper stars in the viral tv series Jury Duty and is well known for his role as Eric in The S*x Lives of College Girls. You may also recognize him from St. Denis Medical, The Late Late Show, or his viral stand-up set on Comedy Central!

Sureni is a New York-based-stand up comedian, actor, and writer. She has performed at SF Sketchfest, Desi Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, and Silicon Valley Pride Festival. She was named to Gold Comedy’s “23 Comedians to Watch in 2023” and she has been featured on HBO’s Game Theory with Bomani Jones. You won’t want to miss her!

—Celebrate Holi on Langford Green, Saturday, March 23rd. Holi is a popular festival in South Asia, which celebrates the arrival of spring season by celebrating with dancing and throwing colors. Join CDU and SASA for this event with color powder and an appearance by Kona Ice, with performances by Nole Nandana and Desinoles!

—Want to design your own clothing items? Well, then come on down to Design Downunder on March 7th at Union Green from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.!
You’ll be able to design on your own shirt, tote bag, and hat in any design you’d like! We’ll have tie dye stations, regular paint stations, drawing stations, and puff paint stations. There will also be chips and soda for everyone!
Make sure you jump into spring in style at Design Downunder! The event is free for all.
