Wanda has spent every day of her short life in heartbreaking isolation, with no one to offer a loving touch or a kind word. At just 5 months old, this sweet Pyrenees mix has known only the cold and uncaring walls of the shelter. She is sad & alone now, waiting in a high-kill shelter where her life hangs by a thread.

Despite her innocent eyes and gentle nature, she’s been overlooked and ignored, day after day, for five long months. Wanda’s story is one of silent suffering. She doesn't deserve this fate; she’s just a baby, facing a death sentence she can't understand.

Time is running out for Wanda. She’s on high alert and set to be euthanized immediately due to the shelter’s capacity for care. Each moment that passes is one less moment she has. PETE is outstanding. He's athletic, smart and does wonderfully with other dogs. PETE is a superstar in playgroup and walks well on a leash. He is affectionate, respectful and has a smile that will win your heart. He bonds with people quickly and is ready to be a terrific and loyal canine companion. PETE is 5 years old, 60 pounds and his adoption fee is $35.
