We are proud to provide people the opportunity to look beyond the negative stereotype commonly associated with them. We anticipate you’ll be inspired by Copper’s work and are honored to have her bronze sculptures throughout our space & ingrained in brand our identity. 🦇🦇🦇

Water department previously approved our 1.5” water meter in 2023 & has informed us that it needs to be a 2” water meter now. We’ve been informed that it’s okay, bc the water line is good to go. So now, we pause & wait for the city to drop off and install the new meter.

In addition, Teco installed residential inline water heaters and due to us not acquiring a hot liquor tank, we need to increase our hot water temperature on demand. Another road block, that we are navigating around.

Whats that saying brewers say? It’s either Hot, Heavy, or it Leaks? 😅 well so far, none of this is happening 🤣 the road ahead is unpredictable & uncharted.

Ebb & Flow

It is Monday. Last Monday began with a call from the DOH.

This Monday started with an email from the Water Department.

All of a sudden, what most have warned & prepared us for just began.

Good news though, we have the best team & we are ready for it 💪🏼

We are finding comfort in these days realizing it is more about continuous forward motion and less about arriving somewhere.

Certainly are getting closer to being able to bend elbows with our friends, family, and community.

Part 1:

Matthew said yes to starting a brewery with me 3 years ago.

We planned and built the brand imagery the first year. We didn’t find this location until the second. The third year, our heads are spinning off, architects, licenses, leases, construction, build outs, plumbing, interior design, historic preservation… all which we had little to no education on.

Perseverance, you have to own it if you want it. One foot in front of the other. Here we go 🦇🦇🦇🦇

Before the Broken ground & Crumbling brick, The building provided safety and security to many people through the years. We can’t wait to call it our home. 🦇

Soon to be the entrance. In these photos you get a sneak peek of what the inside space will look like. It’s tiny but mighty and we plan on packing it in with a lot of good ole ybor love 🦇🦇🦇
